🍃 The benefits of using seasons:

The division into seasons allows you to save crop rotation data and analyze field data for previous seasons. Imagine corn was planted in your field in 2016; in 2017, it was fallow; in 2018, wheat was planted; and, in 2019, part of the field had corn, and the other part had wheat. Creating seasons allows you to keep this field history.

Field data such as NDVI, growing degree days, and accumulated precipitation charts are only available from 2016 on. If you want to check this data for any season starting from 2016 to now, just fill in the field information for that season.

How to create a season

  1. Once you’ve signed up, a season will be created automatically for the current year. Click the season name in the upper left-hand corner. In the window that opens, you can switch between different seasons and create new ones.

  2. To create a season, click 'New season'. In the 'New season' window, enter a season name, and its start and end dates. If you want to copy all the fields from the previous season into the new one, make sure the 'Copy fields ...' box is checked. If you want to create a blank season, uncheck it.

  3. Click 'Create season'.

🌤 How to edit a season

Click the season name in the upper left-hand corner. In the window that opens, hover your mouse over the season you want to edit and click 'Edit'. In the 'Edit season' window, change the data you want (season name, start and end dates) and click 'Save'.

How to delete a season

To delete a season, click the season name in the upper left-hand corner. In the window that opens, hover your mouse over the season you want to delete and click 'Edit'. In the 'Edit season' window, click 'Delete season'.

🔄 How to copy a field from one season to another

Select the field you want to add to a different season and click 'Edit info' in the bottom right-hand corner. Click 'Add to season' and select the season you want to add the field to. Please note that the field's information doesn't copy over, just the field itself.

If you're creating a new season and want to copy the fields from the previous season to it, check the 'Copy fields from ... ' box.

🗑 How to remove a field from the season

Select the season in which you want to delete the field. In the 'Fields' tab, select a field from the list, click the three dots next to it, and select 'Delete'. Or, go to the field editing menu and select 'Remove field from ...'.
