🍃 The benefits of using seasons:
The division into seasons allows you to save crop rotation data and analyze field data for previous seasons. Imagine corn was planted in your field in 2016; in 2017, it was fallow; in 2018, wheat was planted; and, in 2019, part of the field had corn, and the other part had wheat. Creating seasons allows you to keep this field history.
Field data such as NDVI, growing degree days, and accumulated precipitation charts are only available from 2016 on. If you want to check this data for any season starting from 2016 to now, just fill in the field information for that season.
➕ How to create a season
The first season is created by default when you register. To create a new season, click on the 'Seasons' icon in the side menu. A window for selecting the season will then appear. There, you can choose another season or create a new one.
Click '+', the icon for adding a new season. A window will open where you need to enter the name, as well as the start and end dates of the season. The "Copy fields..." checkbox is needed for transferring fields from the previous season: uncheck it if you do not want to copy fields from the previous season to the new one. Don't forget to confirm the creation of the season at the end!
🌤 How to edit a season
Click the 'Seasons' tab in the side menu. A window with the list of seasons will appear. Hover over the desired season and click the edit icon. In the window that opens, you can change the name of the season and its start and end dates.
➖ How to delete a season
To delete a season, go to the season editing window (see the previous section on how to edit a season) and select 'Delete season'.
🔄 How to transfer a field from one season to another
