The maps you see in the app are from providers (Google Maps or MapBox), so we can only update them when the providers do. This doesn't happen often: updates occur only once every several years and not for all regions at the same time.

However, we don't use these maps for our calculations. Instead, we use fresh satellite images to calculate NDVI and overlay our results over these maps. While the maps may be outdated, they're only for navigation and don't affect the accuracy of our NDVI index data.
