If your soil test results are saved in Excel and include the coordinates of the sampling locations, you can prepare them for upload in two steps.
Save the table as CSV. In Excel, go to File → Save As and select CSV (.csv). Keep the columns containing coordinates and soil test results.
Convert the CSV to a Shapefile in QGIS. Follow our step-by-step guide to create a file containing the sampling points and their soil test results.
Make sure each row represents a separate sample and includes its coordinates.
